Irises are my favorite flowers. In ancient Greek "Iris" means rainbow, and easily to understand why. An amazing variety of forms and colors give an inspiration to artists all over the world.
The large volume petals shimmering with all colors and hues have an intricate pattern in the center. Most of all I like the harmony of violet and yellow colors in this flower. A perfect combination.
