The branch of an almond tree



This beautiful blooming branch I found under the almond tree in April and soon made a watercolor etude. I hid it in the cabinet and absolutely forgot about that. And two days ago I accidentally found this work and now pleasured to share.
So, for that picture I chose watercolor, not oil paints. This branch reminds me Japanese prints with cherry blossom theme, so I decided to realize this work in graphic.
Firstly, I made a pencil sketch to explore the details of flowers form. I used a soft sharp pencil.


This graphic artwork perfectly fits to any interior. Bedroom or living area. Some examples:




And here is one more picture - watercolor etude. I applied dark deep blue color for background to highlight tender tone of flowers.
