Spring plein air.

So, the spring came, weather  is good, and it means its the best time for plein air!)

Thirst plein air in this year was at the seaside. Also I brought my student – it was her fist time painting on open air, and I think she done her work very well. We spent a good time!)

Still Life with fruits. Part 3, Final

At last I glad to show you a result of my work (Here is 1^st and 2^nd stage). It took some time to complete all details, waiting for drying, covering with varnish and again waiting. So here is new still life with fruits.

 

I felt it was a little empty space in the right corner, so, as you can see, I added a few flowers in vase. Compare to previous stage, I thoroughly drew such small objects as butterfly, drops of water on the foreground, vase pattern, texture of wooden table etc.

Here is a copy of famous French artist Jean-Leon Gerome (1824-1904). He is well-known because of historical and oriental themes which he prefers in painting. I like this painter very much and its not the last my copy of his masterpieces.
